According to the information from Kyrgyzhydromet, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected in Kyrgyzstan on January 16 during the day and on January 17: snowfall, with heavy precipitation in some areas. Wet snow is also expected to accumulate on wires and trees, and fog is anticipated in certain regions. Snow drifts and icy conditions may occur on roads, while mountain areas may experience snow drifts. An increase in the strength of the western wind is forecasted in some places to reach 15-20 m/s.

From January 17 to 19, a significant drop in air temperature is expected: in the Chui and Talas valleys, nighttime temperatures may drop to -9...-14°C, while daytime temperatures will range from -1...-6°C. In the valley zones of the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions, nighttime temperatures will be between -2...-7°C, and during the day from -2°C to +3°C. In the foothills, nighttime temperatures may reach -11...-16°C, while daytime temperatures will vary from -2°C to -7°C. Such unstable weather conditions may create difficulties for the operation of communication enterprises, energy, and utility services. Intense precipitation may reduce visibility on the roads, leading to difficulties in the movement of vehicles.
