According to the resource "Weather and Climate," on January 3, 1955, a record cold was set in Bishkek when the temperature dropped to -29 degrees.

On the same day, extremely low temperatures were observed in the capital.

On the opposite end of the temperature scale was the year 2002, when on the same day a temperature of +17.5 degrees was recorded.

According to forecasts, on January 3 of this year, sunny weather without precipitation is expected in the capital, with daytime temperatures reaching +10 degrees and nighttime readings around -1 degree.
