The republic is expecting a sharp deterioration in weather conditions starting from January 19. Meteorologists warn of a significant drop in air temperature.
According to meteorologists, the temperature in different regions of the country will change as follows:
- Chuy and Talas valleys: at night −9…−14°, during the day −1…−6°;
- Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions: at night −2…−7°, during the day from −2° to +3°;
- Foothills: at night −11…−16°, during the day −2…−7°;
- Issyk-Kul basin: at night −7…−12°, during the day from −4° to +1°;
- Mountain and agricultural areas of Naryn region: at night −23…−28°, during the day −9…−14°;
- High-altitude areas: at night −26…−31°, during the day −9…−14°;
- Suusamyr valley: at night −30…−35°, during the day −11…−16°.
Citizens are advised to take precautions, consider weather conditions when planning trips, and avoid long-distance travel if possible.
