In Bishkek, formerly known as Frunze, a record low temperature was recorded on February 14, 1969. According to the resource "Weather and Climate," the temperature that day dropped to −25.9 degrees.

On the opposite end of the temperature spectrum, the warmest February 14 was in 1970, when the thermometer showed +18.6 degrees.
