
According to Uzhydromet, clear weather without precipitation is expected in the country on Monday, with daytime temperatures ranging from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius. However, snow is possible in Karakalpakstan and the northern regions of Navoi region.
From January 27 to 28, Uzbekistan is expected to receive moist and cold air from Russia, resulting in precipitation in some areas, starting as rain and then transitioning to snow.
From January 29 to 30, this air mass will move eastward, and light snow is also likely in the central and eastern regions of the republic.
Temperatures will gradually decrease in the coming days: at night it may drop to -2…-5 degrees, while during the day it will fluctuate between -3 and +2. In the north, nighttime temperatures may reach -8…-13 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be -3…-8.
Fog is expected in certain areas, and there is a risk of avalanche situations in mountainous regions.
In the capital, there will also be no precipitation on Monday, with daytime temperatures of +7…+9 degrees.
On Tuesday evening, rain is possible, and precipitation (rain transitioning to snow) is expected on January 28 and 29. By January 29, temperatures will drop: at night to -1…-3 degrees, and during the day to 0…+2.
Fog is also possible during the night and morning hours. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 3–8 m/s.
