
On the night of January 2, a large fire occurred in a dormitory in Bishkek, which was successfully extinguished by midnight, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
The fire broke out in a dormitory for foreign students located in the Pervomaisky district. The report of the fire was received by emergency services in the evening.
Five fire trucks, a ladder truck, as well as the headquarters and operational group of the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in fighting the fire. During the evacuation, 150 students were quickly led out of the building.
The fire was completely extinguished at 23:46, and the total area of the fire was approximately 380 square meters.
