On January 2, a large fire broke out in a dormitory located in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek, as reported by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The report of the fire was received at 20:28. Five fire crews and one aerial ladder were deployed to combat the flames.
The fire, which occurred in the dormitory of one of the local universities, was localized by 21:23. Currently, efforts are ongoing to completely extinguish it. The area affected by the fire was approximately 250 square meters.
For safety reasons, 150 students were evacuated from the building. Information about any injuries is currently being clarified.
