In anticipation of the New Year holidays, daily agricultural fairs will be organized in Kyrgyzstan from December 27 to 31, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The goal of these fairs is to ensure stable supplies to the domestic market and offer the population quality products at affordable prices.
In Bishkek, such fairs are held every Saturday and Sunday. The event is organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in collaboration with the city administration.
At the fairs, city residents will be able to purchase food products at prices lower than market rates. The main task is to curb inflation, ensure product accessibility for socially vulnerable groups, support local producers, and stabilize the market.
The fairs will take place at the following locations: in the T. Usubaliev Square, at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, as well as on Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky district.
Participants in the fairs must meet certain requirements: the products must be of high quality and comply with sanitary standards, prices must be lower than market rates, and a confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.
Additionally, the Ministry noted that fairs will be held in all regions of the country and in Bishkek until June 2026.
