In order to ensure sanitary safety and prevent infectious diseases, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated vaccination for citizens preparing for Hajj to Mecca in 2026.

According to the ministry, pilgrims are required to undergo mandatory vaccination against meningococcal infection and seasonal flu. These measures comply with international medical requirements and are a prerequisite for participating in Hajj.

The vaccination will be conducted in all regions of the country from December 23 to December 30, 2025, with each pilgrim undergoing a medical examination beforehand. All vaccination procedures will be carried out in compliance with safety standards and vaccine storage requirements.
