In 2026, a 7% increase in pensions is expected in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the chairman of the Social Fund, Bakhtiyar Aliyev. According to him, the budget of the Social Fund for 2026 allocates 1 billion 200 million soms for these purposes. “We plan to increase by 7%. Next year we will analyze the income from insurance contributions. If they increase in the first half of the year, we will try to raise pensions even more,” noted the head of the Social Fund.
Bakhtiyar Aliyev also presented the draft law "On the Budget of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2026 and the planned period of 2027-2028."
It is reported that the income of the Social Fund budget for the coming year will amount to 137 billion 691 million 504 thousand 700 soms:
income from insurance contributions is expected to be 88 billion 100 million soms;
allocations from the republican budget will amount to 46 billion 670 million 347 thousand 300 soms;
other income — 2 billion 921 million 157 thousand 500 soms.
The planned expenditures of the Social Fund for 2026 amount to 137 billion 303 million 365.2 thousand soms.
