The total revenue from excise tax on products produced in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 4 billion 826.3 million soms for the period from January to November 2025. Of this, 3 billion 448.3 million soms came from alcoholic products, 1 billion 297 million soms from non-alcoholic beverages, 70 million soms from petroleum products, and 8.2 million soms from tobacco products.
As for imports from EAEU countries, the revenue from excise tax amounted to 14 billion 666.8 million soms. In this amount, 9 billion 111.7 million soms came from tobacco products, 3 billion 670.9 million soms from petroleum products, 653.7 million soms from alcoholic beverages, and 749.2 million soms from non-alcoholic beverages.
It is worth noting that since July 1, 2021, mandatory labeling of alcoholic and tobacco products using identification means has been introduced in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the information system "Product Labeling," 12 importers of tobacco products, 34 manufacturers, and 96 importers of alcoholic products are registered, who receive labeling codes.
During the specified period of 2025, a total of 223.7 million labeling codes were issued: 157.2 million for tobacco products, 42.6 million for alcoholic products, 23.7 million for light industry products, 167.9 thousand for footwear, and 3.3 thousand for perfumes.
