In the Naryn region, in the village of Kosh-Döbö, the opening of a two-story hospital built to European standards took place, reports Turmush correspondent.
The opening ceremony was held on December 25 with the online participation of President Sadyr Japarov. Representatives of the district and regional administrations, as well as local residents, also attended the event.
The construction of the new hospital began on May 24, 2024, with 66 million soms allocated from the republican budget. The winner of the tender for the work was the company "Giant-Stroy Company," which offered a price of 65 million 430 thousand soms.
The old hospital, named after Murzabek Kökötaev, was built in 1956 using the ashara method. Over time, it fell into disrepair: the foundation began to sink, the roof leaked, and the floors rotted. The walls tilted and started to collapse, and the doors and windows became unusable. The conditions inside were extremely poor, as the premises were heated by old stoves, creating difficulties for both the medical staff and the treatment of patients. All this necessitated the construction of a new medical facility.
