Currently, there is only one medical facility operating in Kara-Balta.
“In Soviet times, there were two hospitals in the city, but one of them was transferred to private hands. It has now returned to municipal ownership. A new hospital is planned to be built on a designated plot of 4.3 hectares. This issue was raised last year as well, and we received a response from the Ministry of Health that construction would take place, but in reality, nothing has been implemented,” he reported.
According to Abdiyev, residents of the Jayil district turn to this hospital, but due to the large influx of patients, there are often queues, and medical staff cannot serve everyone who wishes to be treated. He called for a solution to this problem.
