According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui Region, a man suspected of stealing a minibus was detained during the raid "Search".
According to law enforcement agencies, a citizen born in 1985, residing in the city of K.T., reported to the police. He stated that on November 26, 2025, around 7:00 PM, his red Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, parked near his home on Zhantaev Street, was stolen by unknown individuals.
As a result of this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 211 (Theft of a Motor Vehicle) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the investigation, it was revealed that on the day of the theft, the vehicle owner had been consuming alcohol near his car. When he briefly stepped out to a store, the vehicle disappeared. He was later hospitalized for alcohol poisoning.
The victim reported to the police on December 4, after being discharged from the hospital. On December 8, law enforcement officers found the stolen vehicle in the Chui region, near Tokmak, and impounded it.
As a result of operational actions, the identity of the suspect was established — I.A., born in 1988. He was arrested in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The court imposed a preventive measure of one month of imprisonment.
