The press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported the uncovering of a large-scale fraud involving a citizen of Kyrgyzstan who used false connections within the authorities to conduct illegal activities.
According to the investigation, “D.R.M.”, who holds the position of president of the Kok Boru Federation, took advantage of his status and promised to help the head of one of the companies avoid possible inspections, for which he received 390,000 US dollars.
On December 22, “D.R.M.” was detained on suspicion of committing fraud as stipulated by Article 209, Part 4, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and was placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
Currently, investigative and operational actions are ongoing.
