The Housing Committees approved the appointment of Gulzat Isamatova as Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations.

At an extraordinary meeting held on December 25, the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, responsible for science, education, innovative development, information technology, culture, sports, and youth affairs, discussed the appointment of Gulzat Isamatova as Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations.

During the discussions, the deputies, including Rustambek uulu Sovetbek, Bolot Sagynaev, Gulai Mashrapova, Saltanat Amanova, and Seidbek Atambaev, under the leadership of Chair Toktobubu Ashymbaeva, addressed relevant issues in higher education, including the need to approve educational standards that meet modern requirements for the transformation of the educational system, as reported by the parliament's press service.

As a result of the discussions, the committee unanimously supported Gulzat Isamatova's candidacy for the position of Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations and forwarded this matter to the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Local Self-Government, and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh for consideration.

The Committee on Constitutional Legislation also gave a positive conclusion on Isamatova's appointment to the specified position.

During the discussion, Deputy Janarbek Akayev emphasized the importance of Isamatova's professional experience, noting that she successfully applies her skills in her new position. Committee Chair Kurmankul Zulushiev added that the possibility of reducing the duration of bachelor's degree programs from 4 to 3 years should be considered, based on international experience.
