The president unexpectedly dismissed the minister of science
Bakhtiyar Orozov, the former minister of science, higher education, and innovation, was convicted by the court for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This was reported by the Alamedin District Court.
The court imposed a one-year driving ban on the ex-minister.
We remind you that on December 15, President Sadyr Japarov issued a decree to remove Orozov from office, explaining this by the violation of ethical standards established for public servants.
It later became known that employees of the Alamedin District Traffic Safety Department stopped a Toyota Camry, which Orozov was driving. An examination confirmed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
