Trump gifted Tokayev a key to the White House and a baseball cap

The American president left his autograph on the baseball cap

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the president of Kazakhstan, received a baseball cap with a personal signature and a symbolic key to the White House as a gift from Donald Trump, his American counterpart. This became known through a message from the press secretary of the Kazakh leader, Ruslan Zheldibay, on his Telegram channel.

The presentation of gifts took place during the visit of the new ambassador of Kazakhstan to the USA, Magzhan Ilyasov, who arrived at the White House for the ceremony of presenting credentials. During the event, Trump presented Tokayev with several gifts, including the signed baseball cap and the key to the White House, as reported by RBC.

The American president also shared his impressions of the meeting with Tokayev in November, noting him as an experienced leader with a deep understanding of international issues.

On November 6, a "C5+1" summit was held in Washington, marking the tenth anniversary of the creation of this platform. The meeting was attended by the presidents of five Central Asian countries, including Tokayev, who was the only one to address Trump in English.

Tokayev, in turn, characterized Trump as a "divinely sent" great leader, adding that his actions contributed to the end of "eight wars in eight months," and that the USA has become the main investor in Kazakhstan's economy with investments exceeding 100 billion dollars.
