Joint Project of JICA and State Enterprise "Kyrgyz Air Navigation"
The joint project aimed at training instructor air traffic controllers is launching thanks to the cooperation between the Japanese agency JICA and the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Air Navigation." This initiative will involve training specialists in air traffic management, including aircraft vectoring and speed control, as well as flight plan development.
On December 18, 2025, a Protocol of Discussions was signed in Bishkek between representatives of JICA in Kyrgyzstan and the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Air Navigation" within the framework of this project.
The main objective of this project is to enhance the efficiency of air traffic management and improve route development procedures, which, in turn, should lead to increased safety and quality of service in Kyrgyzstan's civil aviation.
