During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev reported that in 2024, the volume of agricultural production reached 395 billion soms, which is a growth of 106.2%. In the first 11 months of 2025, this figure increased to 437.4 billion soms, corresponding to a growth of 102%.
According to Kasymaliev, the population is fully provided with six out of nine main socially significant products: milk, potatoes, vegetables, meat, eggs, and sugar.
"In 2024, 1 billion soms were allocated for irrigation, and in the first 11 months of 2025, this amount increased to 1.7 billion soms. Currently, construction and restoration work is ongoing at 10 facilities of the BSR and BDR, and design work is being carried out at 24 facilities," emphasized the head of the cabinet.
He added that for 2026, plans are in place to provide 45 villages and 3 cities with clean drinking water.
