
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, he noted that in the aviation sector, airports are actively investing in the purchase of aircraft using their own funds.
According to him, three airplanes have already been purchased for a total of 2.385 billion soms.
“Next year, the arrival of a Q400 aircraft is expected, and there are plans to purchase two Airbus A321. A total of 8.4 billion soms has been allocated for the modernization of domestic airports. The country has 11 certified airports operating steadily,” he emphasized, adding that airports serve as “Kyrgyzstan's window to the world.”
