Dmitry Bivol won in court
The Smolninsky District Court in St. Petersburg has issued a ruling requiring Ekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of the famous boxer, to refute her accusations against him. This was reported in a piece published by Sportbox.
Previously, Ekaterina had posted on social media allegations of domestic violence supposedly committed by Dmitry.
According to information from the court, "The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg considered the civil lawsuit of Dmitry Bivol against Ekaterina Bivol, in which he demanded that the information disseminated by her be recognized as false and damaging to his honor, dignity, and business reputation, and also required her to publish a refutation." The court found the information presented by the defendant to be untrue and harmful to the plaintiff's reputation.
In accordance with the court's decision, Ekaterina Bivol was ordered to post a refutation on all internet resources owned by her, as well as on her social media pages and in messenger groups. This refutation must include the operative part of the court's decision and be accessible for review by third parties for six months from the date of its publication, as stated in the press service of the St. Petersburg courts.
It is worth noting that in June 2023, Ekaterina announced the end of her relationship with Dmitry after more than 15 years of living together, during which they had two sons.
Additionally, Ekaterina actively published statements on social media containing insults against people of various nationalities, which led to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan issuing a warrant for her arrest, and she was declared wanted in Kazakhstan.
