According to Irina Grishechkina, the deputy director for project issues at the Institute of Advanced Urban Planning from St. Petersburg, the area of Bishkek is 41,081.3 hectares, of which almost a third is privately owned. This information was presented during a public discussion of the master plan for the capital's development until 2050.

In the report presented, it is stated that 31 percent of the city's territory belongs to private individuals, while 60 percent of the land has not yet been registered in the unified state cadastral system. Municipal lands account for only 5 percent, and state lands for 4 percent.

Irina Grishechkina emphasized that one of the main tasks of the new master plan is to transform Bishkek into a financial and logistics center, as well as to diversify the economy to enhance the city's economic security. The document also highlights the importance of creating a comfortable urban environment.

As part of the economic development plan, the expansion of both social and urban infrastructure is envisaged. This includes the construction of parks and squares, educational and medical institutions, as well as the development of public and business centers in various districts of the capital. These zones are intended to provide residents with convenient access to services, public transport, and cultural and entertainment facilities.

According to the developers' forecasts, by 2050, the population of Bishkek will increase to 1.92 million people, and the total volume of buildings in the city will amount to approximately 26 million cubic meters.
