Aliyev reported that the increase in pensions occurred as follows:
- in 2022 — by 33 percent;
- in 2023 — by 38 percent;
- in 2024 — by 18 percent;
- in 2025 — by 12 percent.
According to him, in 2021, the budget of the Social Fund for pensions was 52 billion soms, but now this amount has increased to 64 billion soms.
This statement was made in response to questions from deputies regarding why the Social Fund plans to increase pensions by only 7 percent in 2026, rather than by 10 or 15 percent.
Previously, Bakhtiyar Aliyev reported that a 7 percent increase in pensions is planned for 2026, with a budget of 1 billion 200 million soms.
