Today, while speaking at the People's Kurultai, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, announced significant achievements in providing citizens with housing by 2025.
He noted that the State Mortgage Company has demonstrated record work rates, and this year more than 4,600 families became homeowners.
“This number accounts for half of the total housing provided over the past four years. Since 2021, 9,250 families across the country have had the opportunity to acquire their own homes. The 'My Home' program can confidently be called a people's project. In 2025, funding for housing construction exceeded 40 billion soms, which is significantly more compared to previous years,” emphasized Sadyr Japarov.
The President added that currently about 70,000 apartments are under construction in the republic. The main construction activities are concentrated in Bishkek and the Chui region; however, the Osh, Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, Batken, Talas, and Naryn regions are also receiving significant state support.
