At the People's Kurultai, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, announced plans to provide significant concessions to businesses.

He noted that there is a positive trend in the form of growth in investments in fixed capital.

According to Japarov, this creates new enterprises, develops industry, and leads to the construction of modern facilities, which, in turn, results in the creation of thousands of jobs. More and more citizens are investing their funds in production, processing, farms, and innovative projects, which is a testament to the growing trust in the state.

The president emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is becoming increasingly attractive to international business.

“The increase in foreign investments and the interest of large companies in our resources and infrastructure indicate that we are moving in the right direction. We are taking measures to ensure that investors feel reliable protection from the state. Simplifying investment procedures, reducing approvals, and eliminating bureaucratic barriers, as well as implementing digital services, are part of our strategy,” he added.

According to the head of state, it is necessary to expand the participation of foreign investors and increase the inflow of private capital into various sectors such as industry, processing, energy projects, digital technologies, agriculture, and logistics. Investments should become the driving force for development in every region and sector of the economy.

Japarov also noted that Kyrgyzstan continues to pursue an open and partnership policy, aiming to make the country one of the most attractive investment regions in Central Asia.

“Today, small and medium-sized businesses have become the foundation of our economy. As of the end of the first nine months of 2025, this sector showed significant growth — the number of small and medium-sized enterprises increased by 12 percent, reaching 20,000. The number of people employed in this segment grew by 5.3 percent, totaling 617,000. We will continue to create favorable conditions for business, ensuring transparent rules and protecting entrepreneurs from unjustified administrative barriers,” the president noted.

“I understand that some of you are facing excessive inspections and injustice. I am aware of this situation. After the New Year holidays, I plan to meet with representatives of law enforcement agencies and the business community to discuss the issues that have arisen and make the necessary decisions,” concluded Sadyr Japarov.
