President Sadyr Japarov stated at the People's Kurultai that Kyrgyzstan is actively demonstrating its determination to become a powerful state. The country is engaged in a serious and systematic fight against corruption, organized crime, and other negative phenomena that have undermined its foundation for many years.

According to him, the main task is the complete eradication of this evil.
“Our fight against organized crime goes beyond simply destroying individual criminal groups. We aim to dismantle the hidden mechanisms that have supported crime and its consequences for decades, allowing it to exist. We are not only destroying the top but also the roots of this evil,” Japarov clarified.

He noted that thanks to consistent actions, the national security agencies, the prosecutor's office, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been able to return hundreds of billions of soms to the budget, previously embezzled by criminals and corrupt officials. “These funds belong to the people and should serve the interests of the state, not the pockets of individuals. We are strengthening statehood and will not deviate from this path. We are building a new Kyrgyzstan, where the law will be a protection for honest citizens and a threat to criminals. The stronger the state power, the freer and more confident the people will become,” the president added.

He also pointed out that in the early years of independence, some selfish individuals illegally appropriated numerous state assets that belonged to the people.
“Illegally privatized factories, enterprises, land plots, and strategic facilities have caused enormous damage to the state and have become easy prey for those seeking to get rich quickly. As a result, the country lost not only its assets but also opportunities for development, jobs, and significant revenues that could have been directed towards education, healthcare, and other social needs,” he noted.

Today, efforts are underway to return these assets and restore justice. The large-scale efforts conducted by the State Committee for National Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the prosecutor's office are yielding real results. “Hundreds of billions of soms in the form of assets are being returned to the state. This property is the common heritage of our people and should serve the interests of the entire society,” the president emphasized.

At the same time, he noted that there are critics who attempt to portray the authorities in a negative light.

“Some claim that our actions threaten entrepreneurship and private property rights, trying to mislead people. I want to emphasize: we ensure the inviolability of private property. The state will never encroach on the lawful property of citizens acquired through honest labor. In fact, those who plundered state resources stole not only financial means but also our future. We cannot ignore such crimes. They deprived the people of resources that could have improved the lives of everyone,” Japarov said.

He also added that individuals who have enriched themselves through theft and abuse of office will no longer go unpunished. “Everyone must understand: the era of impunity for predation is over. We are not only returning what was stolen but also restoring the people's trust in the authorities. This is a principled struggle aimed at the interests of every citizen. We are creating a rule of law state, where the law will be applied equally to all, regardless of their status,” he concluded.
