During an inspection conducted in the village of Kara-Zhyjach, prosecutors found that the companies OsOO "S", "AKP", "ZKD", and "AP" did not comply with technological standards in the production of sand and gravel mixtures. They discharged contaminated wastewater onto the ground, completely ignoring the necessary filtration and purification procedures.
Specialists from the regional office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for Bishkek and the Alamidin district conducted an examination, which revealed that such activities caused environmental damage amounting to 7.1 million soms.
Following the inspection, the prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 298 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of environmental protection rules during work execution. An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the case and hold the responsible parties accountable.
