- At the IV People's Kurultai, held on December 25, a delegate from the Jayil District of the Chui Region, Mirlan Jusupbekov, pointed out serious problems with the condition of the roads on the routes Kara-Balta—Monoldor and Kalininskoye—Stepnoye, which complicate the lives of local residents.

According to Jusupbekov, to ensure safe access to social facilities, it is necessary to repair 16.5 kilometers of the roadway.

“These 16.5 kilometers of road are not just a number. They represent the daily difficulties that people face when getting to work, hospitals, and schools,” he noted.

The road passing through Suusamyr from Kochkor to Töö-Ashuu is of strategic importance to the country. However, despite regular repairs, it remains unpaved and falls into disrepair again. The project is already prepared, the expertise is completed, and now residents are hoping for a decision on funding. This road could become a real alternative to the Bishkek—Osh highway, which will be 85 kilometers long,” added Jusupbekov.
