- In the village of Daroot-Korgon, located in the Osh region, the section of the road from Erkyishtam to Karamyk has become a serious danger for drivers and pedestrians due to the intense traffic of heavy trucks. This issue was raised by the delegate from the Chon-Alai district, Mayrambek Narmanbaev, at the IV People's Kurultai.

Narmanbaev noted that there are educational institutions nearby—a school and a kindergarten—which exacerbates the situation. In this regard, he proposed considering the possibility of constructing a bypass road to enhance the safety of local residents.

“The construction of a bypass road is extremely necessary, and we should also think about a bridge in the village of Kyzyl-Eshme. This solution will be beneficial for both settlements,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, the delegate highlighted the need to create a tunnel at the Taldyk pass on the route from Osh to Sary-Tash to Erkyishtam. He noted that the tunnel would help reduce the load on the road, especially in winter when up to 700 vehicles can be on the highway, leading to multi-day traffic jams.

“The implementation of this project will accelerate the transit of goods from China and improve transportation links with other countries,” Narmanbaev added.

He called for active measures to ensure that these issues are taken under control and directed to the Ministry of Transport for a prompt resolution of the existing problems.
