Kanybekov noted that the initiative to open an embassy is already under consideration and may be implemented in the near future. He expressed satisfaction with the work of the embassy in Berlin, which currently performs functions related to supporting Kyrgyz citizens in Europe. However, the delegate called for the opening of a representation in Poland in 2026, claiming that this would significantly simplify the resolution of issues faced by Kyrgyz citizens living in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, who encounter difficulties due to the closure of the border with Belarus.
"Poland could become a 'gateway to Europe' for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs and producers, which would open up new opportunities in trade," he added, emphasizing that the proximity of language and mentality would facilitate communication and the establishment of business contacts.
The delegate also noted that Uzbekistan is actively developing its ties with Poland, and the opening of a Kyrgyz embassy could contribute to strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Europe.
In addition to the issue of the embassy, Kanybekov drew attention to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. He reminded that the Ministry of Economy has appointed trade representatives in countries such as Russia, Turkey, and China.
"The possibility of appointing a representative in Germany or Poland should be considered, who could study the European market, assist in the export of goods, and navigate the necessary documentation," he suggested. The delegate also emphasized the importance of close interaction between the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Kyrgyz diasporas, which are actively engaged in business abroad, organizing visits to familiarize themselves with production and establish cooperation.
