At the IV People's Kurultai, the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, expressed concern that young people are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence for help with their academic assignments. In his opinion, this could negatively impact the level of education. In this regard, he proposed the need to create new legislative initiatives in this area.

The Speaker also emphasized that one of the main tasks of the Jogorku Kenesh of the VIII convocation is to provide legislative support for progress in the country. He noted that previously, the parliament was often perceived as a stage for political intrigues; however, over the past five years, its role in positive changes has been significant.

According to Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, the parliament timely adopted necessary bills, actively cooperating with the executive branch. He assured that the Jogorku Kenesh will continue to fulfill its functions, maintaining a balance between the branches of power and ensuring representation of the people's opinion from the parliamentary podium.

The Speaker noted that the VIII convocation began its work by discussing key laws, including the approval of the draft republican budget for 2026. He emphasized that the deputies intend not only to pass laws but also to strictly monitor their implementation.

In conclusion of his speech, the Speaker urged the participants of the kurultai to focus on strategic issues that will determine the future of the country, rather than getting distracted by current problems.

Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, along with the deputies, actively participated in the first day of the IV People's Kurultai, organized at the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov. The event is attended by about 700 delegates from various regions, representing ethnic groups and Kyrgyz diasporas abroad.
