During his speech, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu discussed the work of the new VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh, emphasizing that the elected deputies have identified legislative support for the sustainable development of the state as their main goal.

“Unfortunately, it must be noted that at certain moments, the parliament was perceived not as a platform for constructive ideas and useful initiatives, but as an arena for political interests and games, which sometimes led to difficult situations in the country. However, over the past five years, the contribution of the Jogorku Kenesh to positive changes has been significant. The parliament has adopted the necessary bills that promote the country's progress, working in unity with the executive branch, avoiding conflicts and rivalry. In the future, we will continue to fulfill our powers, maintaining a balance between the branches of government. If necessary, constructive criticism will be voiced, and the voice of the people will be heard from this high podium,” stated the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Additionally, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that the VIII convocation began its work by discussing key legislative initiatives, including the approval of the draft republican budget for 2026. “This document is an important indicator of the financial stability of the country for the coming year. Along with the adoption of the law, the deputies will closely monitor its implementation, as we have all the necessary powers for this,” he added.

The speaker also raised some social issues. “Previously, it was claimed that everything, from the food we consume to the clothes we wear and the items we use, is harmful to health. Now we are mixing modern technologies with our spiritual heritage and knowledge. Artificial intelligence, which seeks to replace human intellect, is quickly becoming part of our daily lives. Although education is the foundation of development, in schools and universities, we see a generation that completes assignments using artificial intelligence and cannot write even a simple essay without its help. This raises serious concerns. If we rely solely on artificial intelligence, what will happen to our children's knowledge? Therefore, we need to adopt appropriate legislative measures,” he said.

Turgunbek uulu also noted that modern technologies, such as neural networks, are already being used in musical art, citing songs by famous performers as an example. “Today, it is difficult to distinguish whether a song is performed by a live voice or created using artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence even allows 'speaking' for deceased individuals. Therefore, comprehensive special work needs to be done in this area. We cannot avoid artificial intelligence. Everyone realizes that in the era of globalization, these innovations are rapidly entering our lives. We urgently need to work on using these technologies positively,” emphasized the speaker.

Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu also stressed that the Kurultai should discuss not only current issues but also global questions concerning the future of Kyrgyzstan, urging delegates to propose important initiatives to determine the direction of the state's development.
