The Speaker of Parliament Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu reported that work has already begun on compiling a list of deputies who do not attend sessions of the Jogorku Kenesh.
He emphasized that, despite the absence of a registration system using fingerprints and Face ID, attendance at sessions has been under full control since the beginning of the VIII convocation.
According to Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, some members of parliament mistakenly believe that their absence can go unnoticed.
“Out of 87 deputies, we will be able to quickly identify those who do not show up,” he added.
The Speaker also stated that the names of parliamentarians who miss sessions without valid reasons will be published in the media. Financial measures will be applied to them, including a reduction in part of their salary.
