“Since December of last year, a biometric control system has been implemented at the Moscow aviation hub. Over the course of a year, it has filtered out approximately 45,000 individuals, which is equivalent to 10% of the unique migrants arriving here,” the mayor noted, adding that this system allows for the identification of undesirable individuals attempting to enter the city. In addition, it operates at the exit, identifying migrants with criminal records.

“This system serves as a barrier for those who are not welcome in our territory and are on the list of undesirable citizens,” emphasized Sergey Sobyanin.
