In his speech at the Moscow City Duma meeting, the mayor emphasized that "it's important for video game fans not to forget that their skills can be useful for our victory in unmanned forces," according to information from TASS.
He also noted that Muscovites participating in esports tournaments typically hold leading positions and have a passion for video games.
“There are young people who are already signing contracts with the Ministry of Defense and creating specialized units. Those who are interested can expect special conditions and will be welcomed,” Sobyanin added.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation completed the formation of unmanned systems troops in November.
In turn, in February 2024, a new branch of troops was established within the Armed Forces of Ukraine — the Unmanned Systems Forces.
