The opening ceremony took place in a remote format at the Ministry of Defense building, where President Emomali Rahmon and his son Rustam Emomali, who holds the positions of Chairman of the Parliament and Mayor of Dushanbe, were present.
The "Kharbmaydon" training ground has been supplemented with training facilities designed for the preparation of specialists, as well as a command-observation point, which includes driving classes and observation towers.
New border outposts are located in hard-to-reach mountainous areas along the border with Afghanistan, which previously lacked adequate protection. To ensure their effective operation, a new road over 70 kilometers long has been built, along with the necessary supporting infrastructure.
In the past three years, 80 new border outposts have been constructed in Tajikistan, equipped with modern equipment, vehicles, and barracks. Separate residential houses for officers and their families have also been provided.
