In her article published on International Anti-Corruption Day, The Future Is Asian—If Integrity Leads, Diana Torres, UN advisor on governance in the Asia-Pacific region, highlighted the Voyager Transparency project as one of the leading anti-corruption projects in the region.

Voyager Transparency is an AI-based agent that collects open data on budget expenditures and government contracts, providing it in a user-friendly format for citizens. Users of the platform can quickly obtain verified information on how public funds are spent.

With this tool, citizens can ask questions such as, "Where does the government money go?" and "How is your tax money spent?" and receive answers from reliable sources in just seconds.

The Deputy Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, Munkh-Erdene Demberelzeren, noted at the opening of the event that this initiative fully aligns with government goals to combat corruption and enhance transparency. He emphasized that supporting such innovative projects developed by young professionals is of great importance and expressed readiness to provide political support.

The project team noted existing problems with current open data platforms, which are ineffective due to limited compatibility and access difficulties for citizens. They stressed that AI-based solutions can significantly improve transparency and foster more active public engagement.

The platform has already received international recognition, being among 251 projects from 30 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and was awarded for "Outstanding Civic Innovations" at the Civic Tech Innovation Challenge on Governance 2025 organized by UNDP in the region.
