Project leader Sofia Govyazina and the chairman of the Kyrgyz Society of Blockade Survivors, Marat Kutanov, initiated this noble action. Teachers, cadets from the Moldovanovskaya stanitsa, students, mentors, and Timurites also joined in the congratulations, making the events truly warm and heartfelt.
As a result, 13 veterans received congratulations and New Year gifts. One of the most touching moments was the letters of gratitude, sincerely written from the heart. These letters were delivered as part of the "Write a New Year Letter to a Veteran" campaign, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory.
Volunteers not only congratulated the veterans on the upcoming New Year but also expressed their deep appreciation for their heroism, courage, and selflessness. For veterans, such meetings become not just gifts but an important manifestation of attention, live communication, and a reminder that their memory is alive and valued.
Such initiatives contribute to the preservation of historical memory, unite different generations, and foster respect for those who defended the peace and freedom of our country.
