According to the information from the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan (GKNB), on December 24, a clash occurred between Tajik border guards and three members of a terrorist group who were attempting to enter the territory of the country.
The militants resisted and refused to surrender, resulting in their elimination.
During the conflict, two border guard officers were killed - Zirekhbon Navruzbekov and Ismatullo Kurbonov.
