A tragedy occurred in a school in the Moscow region, where a 15-year-old student from the Uspenskaya Secondary School launched a knife attack. The attacker first injured a security guard and then attacked a ten-year-old student, who ultimately died, according to the Investigative Committee and information from TASS.
The assailant has been detained, and interrogations are currently underway. According to TASS reports, the teenager has connections to destructive youth groups. The Telegram channel Mash reports that he recorded the attack on video and took selfies with the victim's body.
According to information from the Telegram channel Baza, shortly before the incident, the high school student gathered in the restroom an object resembling a homemade explosive device, planning to plant it in one of the classrooms. The police are conducting an inspection of the school premises.
At this time, the investigative authorities have opened a criminal case under the article "Murder" on several counts, as reported by the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region.
The deceased fourth grader was named Kobiljon A., and he was a student of Timofey K. The attacker also sprayed pepper spray in the face of the 32-year-old security guard Dmitry Pavlov, resulting in injuries. Before the attack, Timofey K. informed one of the teachers that he was going to prison, indicating his premeditated intentions.
In the educational institution where the attack took place, metal detectors were not installed, only regular turnstiles, sources report. Timofey K. was able to freely bring a knife and a homemade explosive device into the school, and no one noticed his strange behavior when he was looking for a specific teacher.

The security guard was unable to prevent the attack as he did not have any protective equipment with him. The information about the incident was learned by the teachers through school chats when Timofey K. had already injured the guard and killed the fourth grader.
The teachers locked the classroom doors in an attempt to protect the children. Initially, the teenager planned to deal with the mathematics teacher — Maria Dmitrievna, but was unable to find her.
Timofey K. had with him: two knives, a pepper spray canister, matches, and an object resembling a homemade explosive device, which is currently being examined by bomb technicians. He brought all these items into the school without any issue.
Employees of Uspenskaya Secondary School reported that the metal detector at the entrance was operational, but the security did not pay attention to it due to the large flow of students.
Timofey K. arrived at school before classes began, changed clothes in the restroom, and spent about eight minutes searching for his target — the 29-year-old mathematics teacher Maria K. The first reports of the incident began to arrive from the school at 9:30, and the teenager was detained at 10:15.
After committing the crime, the teenager took a selfie against the backdrop of his 10-year-old victim's body. His t-shirt read "No Lives Matter," which is the name of a misanthropic online group advocating for violence and the destruction of humanity. The name of the group is a reference to the Black Lives Matter movement.
