According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, on December 23, a suspect linked to a series of apartment burglaries was detained.
One of the residents of Tokmok reported the incident to the police. According to his testimony, a burglar entered his home on November 26 around five o'clock in the evening, stealing 620,000 soms, $5,000, and 20,000 tenge.
This case was registered under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to theft.
Additionally, the Tokmok Internal Affairs Department received complaints from four other local residents who were victims of similar crimes. Criminal cases have been initiated based on all the complaints.
During operational search activities conducted as part of the "Search" raid, a suspect identified as K.D., born in 1995, was detained. He is currently in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, possible connections of the detainee to other crimes will be clarified.
