The press service of the UPSM presented a video in which two suspects share their stories related to tragic pedestrian accidents.
The first driver recounted that on the night of November 13, around 11:00 PM, he was driving on Lev Tolstoy Street. Poor visibility near the "Monolith" construction complex prevented him from noticing a pedestrian, and he hit them.
The second suspect reported that on November 22, at the intersection of Profsoyuznaya and Mesarosha Streets, he struck a woman.
Unfortunately, in both incidents, the pedestrians died. At the end of the videos, the drivers addressed road users, urging them to follow the rules and be more attentive on the roads.
"Speeding, distractions while driving, and neglecting traffic rules are not just offenses, but circumstances that lead to tragedies that cannot be undone. Behind each such situation are shattered lives, the suffering of loved ones, and a sense of guilt that will haunt them for the rest of their lives," emphasized the UPSM.
