In Bishkek, employees of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs detained a suspect believed to be involved in a series of thefts.
According to information, on November 17, 2025, at around 14:40, a citizen named K.B. reported to the district office. He informed about the theft of a battery from a water truck of the "Mercedes-Benz" brand, which occurred on Ayni Street. Unknown individuals secretly stole the battery and fled the scene.
As a result of the investigation into this case, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational search activities, the police managed to identify the suspect. He turned out to be J.E., born in 1997. A preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave has been applied to him.
At this time, it has been established that he is also involved in four other similar crimes.
