In Bishkek, a murder occurred, in which a former employee of the Traffic Police of Bishkek is suspected. The department was disbanded, as reported by the editorial office of "AKIpress Summary" citing its sources.
According to preliminary information, a resident of the capital contacted the police for help in searching for her sister. She reported that on December 23, she finalized her divorce from her husband U.B., born in 1978, and went to work. At that time, her ex-husband met her, forcibly seated her in a car, and drove off in an unknown direction.
In response to the report, law enforcement agencies initiated an operation called "Intercept."
It was later established that the man shot his ex-wife. The suspect was detained. The deceased was 47 years old, and her birthday coincided with the tragic event. She left behind two children.
The press service of the Bishkek City Police confirmed the information and provided some details of the incident.
At around nine o'clock in the evening on December 23, a call was received at the duty station reporting that a murder had occurred in one of the apartment buildings on Bokonbaeva-Ibraimova Street.
An investigative operational group from the Sverdlovsk District Police Department arrived at the scene. It was established that a quarrel arose between the former spouses U.B. (born in 1977) and U.J. (born in 1978) after the divorce, during which U.B. used a traumatic pistol "MP-79" and shot his ex-wife. The woman died from her injuries.
This incident has been registered under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Murder"). The 48-year-old suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
