According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, during an inspection, it was revealed that these business entities were discharging contaminated wastewater without any prior treatment or filtration during the washing of the sand and gravel mixture.
According to the Regional Department for Bishkek and the Alamidin district of the Ecological Supervision Service under the Ministry of Nature, the damage caused to the environment amounts to 7.1 million soms.
The criminal case has been classified under Article 298 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of environmental standards during operations. Currently, necessary investigative actions are being conducted.
