During a recent live Q&A session, Vladimir Putin stated that the armed forces of the Russian Federation are actively advancing in all directions of combat engagement, and Kupiansk is now under Russia's control. He also commented on the appearance of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the "Kupiansk" stele.
Putin also noted that the stele in Kupiansk now looks different and is located about a kilometer from the city itself.
“Zelensky is an actor, and, without any irony, a talented one. So why stand on the threshold? If Kupiansk is under their control, come inside,” added the Russian leader.
Information about Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Kupiansk appeared on December 12. The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the complete "liberation" of the city from Ukrainian forces.
