Amid public discussions regarding the attraction of foreign labor and the presence of foreign citizens in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has issued a statement about its balanced and controlled state policy in this area.

The attraction of foreign specialists is carried out strictly in accordance with current legislation and the real needs of the country's economy. This is a temporary measure aimed at supporting investment, infrastructure, and other projects that require specific professional skills and experience.

The Ministry emphasized that an important principle is to prevent the displacement of Kyrgyz citizens from the domestic labor market. All procedures, including quotas, permits, and conditions for the stay of foreign citizens, are controlled by the relevant state authorities, and violations of labor and migration legislation are thoroughly suppressed.

The regulation of processes for attracting foreign labor is carried out in cooperation with other state institutions. Special attention is paid to the transparency of procedures, adherence to labor rights, and the gradual increase in the share of local workers in the implemented projects.

Citizens have been provided with information on where to turn with questions related to the attraction of foreign labor:
