During the meeting dedicated to the election of the speaker, it was decided to move on to the session of the entire Jogorku Kenesh. At this stage, the deputies elected Ulan Primov as the chairman of the Committee. The Committee approved the candidacy of Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu for further voting.
After returning to the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies conducted a secret ballot using ballots. Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu was elected as the speaker with the support of 84 votes.
As a result, a corresponding resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh was adopted at the meeting.
