During the discussion, a deputy asked what damage had been inflicted on the state as a result of the destruction of various monuments, including fountains, mosaics, and memorials.
Minister Mambetaliev noted that a joint analysis is currently being conducted with law enforcement agencies. Under the president's guidance, work is also being carried out with Russian specialists on issues of cultural heritage preservation.
Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova expressed the opinion that the Ministry of Culture should take preventive measures. She pointed out that the mayor of Bishkek first demolishes sites and only then issues orders for their collection and preservation, as happened with the recent fountain.
